Personal Training in a Small Group Setting

Group training gives you the extra encouragement boost you need to stay consistent, motivated and seeing results! 

Having a consistent and well-structured plan in place is a must to see results and give you a structured foundation from which to build strength, lose weight and tone your body.

 

Stay accountable for turning up and putting 100% effort into your workout. That sense of accountability you feel will motivate you when you feel like skipping.


A fun and social environment is why many people prefer small group training to a lone gym session. The variety of exercises you undertake and the camaraderie between your fellow exercise participants makes group training effective and keeps you coming back for more.

Gain support from your trainer throughout your entire sweat session. I will continually assess your abilities, strengths and limitations to challenge you in getting the results you desire at a pace you're comfortable with.

Training sessions are 55 minutes and can accommodate up to 15 people per class with modifications and challenges for all fitness levels. Class structure varies but the focus remains on total body and core strength, balance, flexibility and cardio conditioning intervals. They are efficient, motivating, low cost and are a sure fire way to push your limits and maximize your results.

I have been doing this class for 3 weeks, and am so pleased with Laurel's approach. I have had neck and shoulder issues since I was about 16 years old, and usually end up exacerbating these problems with upper body exercises. (I've worked out on my own for 35 years, tried many different classes, and tried a few personal trainers as well.) I have not had any shoulder and neck problems in her class because of the attention to form and her interest in how the exercises are feeling as we do them. In fact, I had hurt my shoulder outside of the class, only slept about 4 hours because of the pain, and considered not coming to class. However, after doing the workout, the pain subsided significantly and the shoulder no longer had pain. She knows how to properly exercise and strengthen your muscles. After 3 weeks, I am already feeling stronger and losing some of my middle. I am so happy to have found a class that suits my needs and someone who understands them! I can't wait to see what I look like and how I feel after 6 months!

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

  • Group Training program designed to develop strength, increase mobility, improve body composition (increase muscle & decrease fat)​

  • Each workout will build upon the previous to incrementally challenge your body so you keep seeing results while having fun and developing confidence.

  • By combining total body movements, resistance training and cardio bursts you will continue burning calories for hours after the workout.

  • During the class you will utilize various equipment; dumbbells, TRX, BOSU, bodyweight, kettlebells, battle ropes and more.
